The invention relates to a screw closure, in which an inside part, such as a closure stopper (1), can be rotated relative to an outside part, such as a neck part (2). In order that an intermediate position, such as a pouring position, can be gripped securely, a resistance member is provided on at least one thread, which member initiates an increased resistance to the rotation when the intermediate position has been reached. The resistance member is preferably a thickening in the radial or axial direction which can interact with a thickening on the other part or with an indentation in the other part and which can also be of wedge-shaped design. In this case, the resistance member can be designed to be adjustable such that the force of resistance is removed under appropriate actuation. <IMAGE>
