The insertion part is arranged for insulation between a side wall of an appliance, such as an oven or a unit of a built-in kitchen, and consists of a covering part arranged between two insulation panels attached to a frame part. The covering part is separated from the insulation panels by spacer bushes which are of such a length that a slot-type circulation opening remains in each case between the covering part and the panels or frame parts.
