PURPOSE:To prepare the titled food having excellent taste, flavor and palatability, by mixing pieces or powder of cuttlefish having controlled water content with an edible binder, and pressing the mixture under heating. CONSTITUTION:Small pieces or powder of cuttlefish having water-content of 10- 40%, preferably about 15-30% are mixed with 1-30%, preferably about 2-20% edible binder such as pullulan, dextrin, etc., and optionally with arbitrary seasonings, etc., and pressed under the pressure of about 0.3-10kg/cm<2> for about 5sec-10min under heating at 60-120 deg.C, preferably about 75-100 deg.C. |
