The stand serves the purpose of guaranteeing that upright objects stand securely, combined with simple handling. The technical problem was to eliminate deficiencies, such as the alignment, the attachment, the considerable effort and the manual skills required, and to gain additional advantages. The solution consists in the fact that an expandable inside part can be pumped up in an outer housing. The expansion of the inside part causes an even, all-round pressure over a large area. As a result, maximum stability, adaptation to irregularities, automatic vertical positioning, coverage of any cross-section, handling by one person, setting-up in a standing position, a simple solution, non-requirement of manual skills, non-requirement of effort, automatic adaptation of the cross-section, even in the case of drying-out (shrinkage) are achieved without effort. The primary use will be the "setting-up" of Christmas trees.
