PURPOSE:To prevent knocking from occurring at certain intervals, in an ignition timing control device using the knocking feedback, by controlling the speed of angle advance upon comparison of the time of knocking occurrence with the state of engine at the current time. CONSTITUTION:Signals from an engine state sensing means 16 is fed to a memory circuit 13. When a signal from a knocking sensing means 11 is fed into this memory circuit 13, the signal from the engine state sensing means 16 is kept in memory. A correction advance-angle speed determining circuit 14 determines the correction advance-angle speed in accordance with change of the engine state from the last engine state in which knocking was occurring with the aid of the signal from the engine state sensing means k6 and memory circuit 13. Thereby knocking can be prevented from occurring again at certain intervals. |
