NOISE DAMPING DEVICE OF CLOSED MOTOR COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To reduce the noise of a closed motor compressor by properly setting the diameter, thickness of peripheral rise section of a disk-like plate brought into close contact with the inner wall of an accumulator and with a hole bored in the center so as to shift the resonant frequency of the accumulator oscillation. CONSTITUTION:One or a plurality of disk-like plate 15 with a hole bored in the center are fitted to the inner wall of a cylindrical body 14 constituting an accumulator 7. The diameter, height, thickness of the disk-like plate 15 are set so that the resonant frequency of the accumulator 7 oscillation is shifted from a frequency range with a large noise to a frequency with a small noise when a motor compressor 5 is driven. Accordingly, the noise of the closed motor compressor can be reduced by a very simple means properly setting the size of the disk-like plate 15 with a bent portion at the periphery.
