PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a vehicle which runs being floated by the curtain air jetted from the upper part of the vehicle downward by providing propellers for floating the vehicle at both sides of propellers for propelling the same vehicle and by constituting these propellers in such a way that they can be driven by a common internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:An internal combustion engine 2 is mounted at about the middle of a vehicle 1 main body, while its driving shaft 4 is extended backward. And at the tip side of the propeller shaft 4, a propelling propeller 5 is interlocked with the shaft 4 through a multi-plate clutch 6 or the like. At both sides of the driving shaft 4, propeller shafts 13 and 16 for floating provided with propellers 10 and 11 for floating are arranged in parallel, while each shaft 13 or 16 is interlocked with the driving shaft 4 via a pulley 8 or 9, a timing belt 12 or 15, and a pulley 14 or 17 respectively. Each propeller for floating 10 or 11 is installed in a duct 20 which provides communication sack-shaped space of hull 21 toward the rear of the vehicle main body 1 so that a curtain of air is produced in a skirt 22 hung from the external periphery of the ship's hull 21. |
