PURPOSE:To allow ink droplets of uniform size to fly all the time as well as eliminate the clogging of ink by a method in which ink is supplied to a large number of needles provided in a straight line in the axial direction on the periphery of a rotary drum and is allowed to fly by means of the electrostatic force. CONSTITUTION:A rotary drum 1 having a large number of needle electrodes 2 provided in the axial direction on its periphery is turned, ink in an ink supply portion 5 is supplied to the electrodes 2, and the rotary drum 1 is turned in the direction of arrow 9 until it faces the second multi-needle electrode 4. Then, an image signal S serieally put into a control means 3 is controlled to a parallel signal, voltage is applied between the electrodes 2 and 4 according to the image signal S, and ink adhered to the electrodes 2 is selectively flied according to the image signal S and recorded on a recording paper 6. |
