PURPOSE:To improve the operability of register matching of a plate-curving machine in an offset printer by a method in which a printing plate is set in place on a mobile table facing an optical sensor while seeing it with eyes and moved for a specific distance vertically and horizontally. CONSTITUTION:To move a small wire (lo) extending vertically to the position of a sensor 15b, a driven pin 10c for sidewise direction is moved by a distance of no in the sidewise direction by a signal from a motor-reciprocal movement drive circuit 20 for the horizontal direction. If the small wire (lo) is in the visional field of the sensor 15b in the stage, it is detected by the sensor 15b, the detection signal is put in the drive circuit 20 through an optical sensor signal processing circuit 21 for the sidewise direction, and when the small wire (lo) comes to the center of the sensor 15b, the drive pin 10c for sidewise direction is stopped. If the small wire (lo) does not come into the visional field of the sensor 15b even when moved for a distance of no to one of the sidewise direction, it follows that the mobile table 7 is moved farther away from the sensor 15b, and therefore, it is moved for a distance of 2no in the opposite direction. |
