PURPOSE:To clamp a cylindrical workpiece with high accuracy by a diagonal positioning base-part, which is formed so that the external surface of a nose piece is to be parallel with a main shaft, and a clamp which contacts with the internal or the external surface of a workpiece held by the nose piece. CONSTITUTION:A slider 17, which is monolithically molded with a draw bar 5, and a clamp claw 15 also, are drawn to the direction B2, by the movement of a cylinder which is not shown. the clamp claw 15 is protruded to the direction of the diameter (C direction) of a nose piece 12 by the sliding movement of tapered surfaces 14a and 15b to each other. The positioning base-part 13 of a nose piece 12 is pressed on to the internal surface of a workpiece W, and the workpiece W is support by three points of a pair of base-parts 13 and the clamp claw 15, so that the work W is firmly clamped by the title clamping unit. |
