PURPOSE:To obtain a developing ink for a no-carbon duplicate paper capable of lithograhic and letterpress printings with lesser staining caused by coloration by mixing a vehicle consisting of a developing agent, a binder, a plasticizer, a higher alcohol, a polyhydric alcohol, and a surfactant with a pigment. CONSTITUTION:A developing ink is prepared by mixing a vehicle consisting of a developing agent, a binder, a plasticizer, a higher alcohol, and a plyhydric alcohol, together with non-ionic and anionic surfactants as needed, with a pigment. When a spot printing is made with the developing ink on the surface of an upper paper 1 whose back is coated with fine capsules incorporated with a chromogenic leuco dye oily solution and an intermediate paper 2 is obtained, staining problem with reaction of the permeable vehicle with the chromogenic leuco dye oily solution can be greatly improved. A no-carbon duplicate paper is made up of the upper paper 1, the intermediate paper 2, the fine capsules 4 incorporated with a chromogenic leuco dye oily solution, and the developing ink 5. |
