PURPOSE:To feed a work by lifting a work feeding roller, by a method wherein the tip of a cutting-off processing side of the work to be cut off is specified freely with a necessary minimum extent so that the tip of the work does not rub with a vise bed in the vicinity of a cutting-off processing position, in a feed of the work to be cut off to the cutting-off processing position of a cutter. CONSTITUTION:A work feeding roller 3 is installed between a vise bed 5 and a roller stand 7. The roller 3 is frequentable from a fixed reference level kept amont the upper surfaces of the roller stand 7, a great many rollers and the upper surface of the vise bed 5, the roller 3 is lifted when cutting-off is completed by a saw blade 9 and is revolved and driven through a bevel gear 13 and a universal joint 15 by rotating a handle 11, and the work to be cut off is positioned for the next cutting-off. |
