PURPOSE:To automatically absorb unevenness of parts in a memory unit changing an electric characteristic with driving of a motor, by automatically ajusting an initial position at initial closing of a power source in such a manner that a memory quantity is equivalent to zero. CONSTITUTION:A sliding terminal of a position memory element 1 outputs voltage Va corresponding to a memory position by a constant voltage circuit 3, and a comparator 41 in an arithmetic circuit 4 compares the voltage Va with preset voltage VR out of a normal range to output a signal (d) when obtaining Va=VR. Then a target value decision unit 43 firstly reads the voltage Va when a power source is turned on, and then decides a target value of a memory position in accordance with an engine parameter, if the signal (d) is input, a memory quantity is set to a value equivalent to zero. This target value reversibly rotates a motor 2 through a deviation arithmetic unit 42 to align the memory position to the target value. Accordingly, the voltage Va is out of the normal range when the power souce is initially turned on only by aligning a motor shaft 6 to marks Ma, Mb on the variable resistor 1 at assembly time, and an initial position can be automatically set. |
