PURPOSE:To exactly attach a printing plate to a given place of a plate cylinder in an offset printer by matching the referencial fine wire of the printing plate with a referencial fine wire on the periphery of the plate cylinder and the upside of the base of a plate-curving machine through a detection hole. CONSTITUTION:In attaching a printing plate P to a plate cylinder 40, one (bite head) of folded portions is inserted into the plate cylinder 40a, and while turning the plate cylinder 40, its periphery is wound with the printing plate P. Then, they are finely adjusted horizontally in such a way that a dragonfly-like mark m2 on the plate cylinder is matched with the opening 1 of the registor-mark m0 of the printing plate P so as to completely match them so that they can be seen as one registor-mark. Then, the other (bite hip) of the folded portions is inserted into the opening 43a of a roll-up shaft 43 through the bite hip 40b of the plate cylinder and clamped by turning. By this method of attaching the printing plate P to the printing cylinder, register matching can be exactly attained even when multi-color printing is made. |
