In a device for removing warts using liquid nitrogen, a metallic cooling rod (12) is provided, in whose inside a temperature sensor (4) is arranged. The temperature sensor is connected to an electrical temperature measurement device by way of a cable connection. For removing the warts, the cable connection is detached and an insulating tube is pushed over the cooling rod, with which tube the cooling rod is gripped and treatment is carried out. A temperature check during treatment is not possible. The treating physician therefore requires a great deal of experience in order to meter the cold supply to the optimum effect. In order to simplify treatment, the cooling rod is held in a pistol-like grip (1) in which the temperature measuring device (5) is arranged and on which the temperature display (8, 9) is situated. The temperature can be indicated visually or by sound. The device is optimised by means of a time-measuring facility (10) arranged on the grip. <IMAGE> |
