<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture easily a decorative sheet by a method wherein rugged reliefs are given to the substrate of a highly expanded layer on the upper surface of backing material, the concave part is filled with foamable paste resin, the filled resin is heated, the foamable paste is expanded and raised and at the same time the substrate is thermally disintegrated. CONSTITUTION:A foamable synthetic resin layer 2 is laminated on the upper surface of a backing material 1 such as paper, cloth, etc. or the surface of the backing material is filled with the foamable synthetic resin. Then, the layer is introduced into a furnace, heated, expanded to form a substrate foaming layer 2 and deep rugged reliefs 3, 4 are stamped. Deep rugged reliefs 3, 4 are given to the substrate foaming layer 2 having a high expansion ratio of five times or more and cooled sufficiently. The cavities 3 of the reliefs are filled sufficiently with foamable paste 5' and the convex parts 4 of the reliefs are hardly painted. Then, the substrate foaming layer is introduced again ito the furnace, the foamable paste 5' is heated, expanded, protruded, concurrently the substrate foaming layer 2 is disintegrated by the heat of the furnace to depress the projected parts 4 into the recess parts 6.</p> |
