PURPOSE:A roving from stable fibers shorter than those forming sliver, on the average, is fed to the upperstream of, the front roller of the roving frame to twist the sliver loosely, thus effecting mixed spinning of 2 kinds of staple fiber bundles different in fiber length. CONSTITUTION:Staple fibers larger in fiber length on the average are fed to the roving frame in the form of sliver, while those of shorter length is in the form of roving. The roving is fed to the upper stream of the front roller of the frame and the sliver and the roving are piled and loosely twisted in the frame to give a roving. In the spinning frame, 2 rovings are doubled, drafted and twisted in the roving yarn twisting direction. |
