PURPOSE:To execute a continuous operation for a long time while holding a tone quality satisfactorily, by dividing a feed speed of a magnetic sound recording medium by music and a voice. CONSTITUTION:A feed speed of a magnetic tape MT is made variable, and when recording music, a feed speed of the tape MT is made fast, and when recording a voice, its feed speed is made slow. This feed speed is switched after a target time (which is set to a nonrecording part or thereafter) has passed, after music or a voice has halted. Also, a feed speed of the tape MT in case of reproducing is switched automatically so as to correspond and coincide with each feed speed against music or a voice in case of recording. In this way, it is possible to execute a continuous operation of a long time, holding a tone quality satisfactorily. |
