PURPOSE:To make it possible to absorb the torsion of a cable caused by its winding by arranging a rotary drum and a swing drum on the main reel of a reel device for accessibly winding a composite cable including a communication core line around a travelling body. CONSTITUTION:A rotary drum having its outer diameter D and a swing drum 12 having the outer diameter d are arranged on a main reel 5. And, the number of revolutions of a pivoted arm 11 is set to that D/D+d of a supporting shaft 3. In such constitution, when the main reel 5 is, for example, turned clockwise, a communication cable 14 is drawn out from the swing drum 12, and wound around the rotary drum 8. By such the travel of the cable 14 between the drums 8, 12, the torsion of the cable 14 is absorbed. Hereby, a slip ring is made unnecessary, and many optical fibers can be used as a signal core line. |
