PURPOSE:To obtain a carrier causing no thermal decomposition during working and having superior heat resistance and mechanical strength by forming pits corresponding to information signals in the form of a spiral or concentric circles using a specified thermoplastic resin and a specified surface-coated electrically conductive particles. CONSTITUTION:Polycarbonate resin is used as a thermoplastic resin, carbon black surface-coated with a silane coupling agent is used as electrically conductive particles, and 15-35wt% electrically conductive particles are mixed with 85-65wt% thermoplastic resin. Using the mixture, pits corresponding to information signals are formed in the form of a spiral or concentric circles at prescribed intervals. Thus, a disk type recording carrier causing no thermal deformation during working and having superior heat resistance and mechanical strength is obtd. |
