PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced image faithful to image information, by joining a revolving shaft for supporting and rotating a cylindrical recording medium with a shaft connected with its exclusive driving source using a direct coupling. CONSTITUTION:A drum shaft 8 is joined coaxially with the output shaft of a motor 9 rotating at a prescribed rotation speed using a pin 11 or the like. The motor 9 is fixed to the backside plate 12 of a main body, and the drum shaft 8 is also held with a bearing 13 fixed to the plate 12. The drum and the drum shaft 8 are joined in one body by providing a flange 15 with a cylindrical protuberance, threading it to form a male screw 16, engaging a member 17 having a female screw having somewhat smaller than the male screw with this male screw, and tightening it. Consequently, a reproduced image faithful to image information can be obtained. |
