PURPOSE:To provide a burr remover capable of removing burrs from a processed workpiece at a high accuracy and efficiency even if the shape of ridges of the workpiece with burrs is complicated, or the workpiece itself has certain forming distortion which is equipped with a profiling mechanism for causing a burr removing tool to move along the ridge portion with burrs of the workpiece. CONSTITUTION:A burr removing mechanism 38 is caused to move along ridged portions 40, 41 by a feeding mechanism 11, while it is caused to move forward or backward in response to the shape of ridged portion of a processed workpiece 1 fom which burrs are to be removed by means of a profiling mechanism 21. A burr removing tool 37 is installed to the burr removing mechanism 38 so that its scooping angle becomes a negative value. By this arrangement, burrs can be uniformly removed without using a special correcting jig. |
