PURPOSE:To facilitate and speed up the progress of manufacturing a ball rod and to reduce the cost by bending a plate material to form the large end portion of the ball rod slidably fitted to an eccentric part of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:The large end portion 7 of a ball rod 9 is formed by bending a plate material 11 such as a steel plate like a torus, and both end portions 11a, 11b of the plate material are joined to each other to be pressed in such a manner as to have a fitting slide portion 12 for surrounding the eccentric part 6 of a rotary shaft 4. One end of a stick 13 having a globe shaped portion 8 at the other end thereof is disposed in such a manner as to cross at a right angle to the outer peripheral portion of the thus formed large end portion 7, and they are joined to each other by adhesion or brazing, so as to form a ball rod 9. |
