PURPOSE:To improve the degree of freedom of the movement of a fluid ink, to stabilize an ink recording motion and accelerate a speed, and to simplify constitution of a recording head, by forming a cave-in part in a porous material surface of an electric penetrating ink recording head. CONSTITUTION:In order to widen a joining gap between a dielectric support substrate 16 and a porous material 14 surface, a plurality of dotted cave-in parts, linear (fine beltform) cave-in parts such as parallel grids, and netty cave-in parts are formed in a surface 14b of the porous material 14 by a machine-cutting process or an embossing process. This improves movement of a fluid ink 40 between electrodes 26 and 27, the extrusion of the ink 40, and the degree of freedom of the movement of the fluid ink 40 through suction. |
