To manufd. cyclopentadiene copolymer without contg. gel, were used catalyst soln. which composed of Lewis acid, electron donating group contg. oxygen, and aromatic hydrocarbon complex soln. Product copolymers had 70 - 240 bromic values and those polymer 4-40 wt % were mixd. with 100 wt% diene type rubber, then to obtain vulcanized rubber with improved mechanical property. Thus, cyclopentaiene 8.2 g, isoprene 8.2 g, and 110 ml anhyd. toluene were added to 300 ml reaction tube. Tert-chloro aluminium-xylene soln. catalyst 2.3 g was added to above mixts. and reacted at 25≦̸C for 1 hr.
