PURPOSE:To prevent cold draft from occurring by a method wherein the operation of a fan is started when the difference between the set value of an indoor side thermostat and the temperature of an indoor side heat exchanger exceeds a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerating cycle consists in successively connecting a compressor 1, a four-way switching valve 22, the indoor side heat exchanger 3, a pressure reducing device 23 and an outdoor side heat exchanger 24 in a loop. In addition, forced draft fans 8 and 25 and their respective motors 9 and 26 are provided at the indoor side heat exchanger 3 and the outdoor side heat exchanger 24 respectively. In order to start the heating operation, at first the compressor 1 is put into operation and, after that, when the difference between the set value of the temperature of the thermostat 7 installed to control air temperature and the temperature on the surface of or at the piping of the indoor side heat exchanger 3 exceeds a predetermined value, the indoor side fan is put into operation. As a result, even if the air blown-off from the indoor side heat exchanger directly strikes human bodies, no chill is felt, resulting in contriving to improve the comfortability. |
