PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement of an output by reducing or increasing a relief quantity of fuel to reduce oscillation and noise of an engine through fluctuation of suction pressure, by providing a diaphragm type relief valve on a delivery side of a fuel injection pump. CONSTITUTION:When suction pressure is increased by actuation of a turbocharger, pressure in a suction pressure chamber 811 is increased, a diaphragm 809 is pushed to the left, and a piston 803 is pushed according to suction pressure. Relief fuel from a relief quantity adjusting part 807 is reduced in consequence, the pressure in a chamber 710 is increased and the fuel pressure from an injection nozzle is increased. On the contrary, when suction is performed at the time of no load or a low load, the suction pressure is reduced to lower than the atmospheric pressure, the pressure in the suction pressure chamber 811 is reduced and the diaphragm 809 is pulled to the right. The piston 803, therefore, is moved to the right, the relief fuel from the adjusting part 807 is increased, the pressure in the chamber 710 is reduced and the fuel pressure from the injection nozzle is reduced. |
