PURPOSE:To ensure a forwarding again for a magnetic tape after eliminating the sag of the tape, by applying the saw-tooth wave to a spool motor to secure a vibrating rotation for taking-up of the tape in a case no tape is detected by a detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When the tape 3 is forwarded in the normal way, the 1st and 2nd tape position detectors 11 and 12 deliver ''0'' respectively. In case the tape 3 has a sag and cannot pass through within a bus, the detectors 11 and 12 deliver ''1'' respectively. When the time T1 during which the tape 3 reaches the position of the detector 11 elapses, the saw-tooth wave sent from the saw-tooth wave generating circuit 18 is superposed on the control signal that gives a backward rotation to the spool motor 24 and supplied from the drive control circuit 22. Thus the motor 14 receives a vibrating rotary control. In such a way, the tape 3 is taken up to the spool 2 without sagging. |
