PURPOSE:To realize a packet exchange having large-capacity processing ability, by transferring the packet inputted from a line by a central control processor group A to an arbitrary central control processor group B. CONSTITUTION:A packet having a header of a frame level inputted from a line is stored in an individual memory 2 via a line controller 1 controlled with a central control processor 3. The controller 3 sequentially picks up the packet stored in a memory 2 and checks the normality of the frame level of the header of the frame level. When a failure of this level is detected, a packet is retransmitted to a packet transmission original exchange or a terminal. A module CPM receiving the packet performs exchange processing with subscriber data and station data stored in an individual memory 4, a call controlling memory and a common memory 6 and determines a module LCM and a transmission path. |
