<p>PURPOSE:To edit the document picture images in a simple way, by converting a row of edited character codes into a pattern picture on the basis of the format of a character pattern and then setting the pattern picture into an original picture. CONSTITUTION:Display picture data is properly transferred to a picture/character converting part 7 or a control part 2 by means of an indication controlling signal. The part 7 recognizes a character pattern and converts and delivers the pattern into a character code on the basis of the result of recognition. A sentence correction controlling part 9 feeds a correction signal and a character code and performs the correction and a display of the corrected sentence. When the correction is over, a sentence display part 10 receives a display request signal and the character code and energizes a character reading circuit 11. Then the part 10 reads out the character pattern picture of a prescribed format which is previously registered to a character pattern memory 12 to display it and at the same time receives a character pattern data transfer request signal from the control part 9 to transfer it to the control part 2.</p> |
