PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the normal flow of a second column which needs reproduction and of a reagent and to enable to perform an analysis of ion through a simple constitution, by a method wherein an electric analyzer forms a path of an elute, and a pair of ion exchange films of a similar type and an electrolyte, which is immersed in a region partitioned by the ion exchange films of the similar type, are located. CONSTITUTION:An eluent 1 containing a developing agent is guided to a separating column 5 by a pump 2. A sample implanting valve 3 is mounted to the path of the eluent 1 guided to the separating column 5, and a sample previously implanted in a sampling coil 4 is guided to a separating column 5 by switching the sample implanting valve 3. The separating column 5 is filled with an ion exchange resin of a low-ion exchange capacity, and in case ion in the sample passes through the ion exchange resin, it is separated by a difference in affinity, and it flows out from the separating column 5 in order from the ion having weakest affinity. A flow-out liquid is guided to an electric analyzer 6, and the component of the developing agent is removed from the flow- out liquid thereat. The flow-out liquid, from which the developing agent is removed, is guided to a detector 15, and the output of the detector 15 is inputted to a recorder 17 via an operational amplifier 16 to obtain a chromatograph. |
