PURPOSE:To reduce residual charge of a pickup roll, by providing the pickup roll for collecting a toner scraped by a cleaning blade, and providing a destaticizing member at a prescribed interval so as to be opposed to said pickup roll. CONSTITUTION:A visible image is transferred to a form 8 fed by a feed roll 9, by discharge of a transfer device 5, but a part is left. As for a remaining toner, discharge of opposite polarity to the transfer deice 5 is executed by a pre-clean corotron 6, and is neutalized and becomes apt to be separated from a photoreceptor 1. A toner scraped by a cleaning blade 21 is collected to a device body 20 by a pickup roll 22, and charge is generated by friction charging, but it is eliminated and reduced by a destaticizing member 24, and its residual charge is suppressed low. Since the destaticizing member 24 is provided at a prescribed interval l from the pickup roll 22, it does not occur that the toner on the pickup roll 22 drops and stains a form on a carrying belt 11. |
