PURPOSE:To obtain a clear developed color image with little fog only by heating after imagewise exposure by adding 2 kinds of elements which react with each other by heating to develop color to different layers and by using a photosensitive layer contg. a photopolymerizable component and/or a photo-cross-linkable component as an intermediate layer separating said layers from each other. CONSTITUTION:A coupler soln. contg. 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluorane as the coupler, a photosensitive soln. contg. polyvinyl cinnamate as a photo- cross-linkable component, and a developer soln. contg. bishpenol A as the developer are applied in order and dried to obtain a recording material. When the material is imagewise exposed to a high voltage mercury lamp and heated, a positive image with little fog is formed. The phot-cross-linkable component or a photopolymerizable component is set by the exposure to hinder the diffusion and penetration of the developer and/or the coupler during the heat development, so no coupler reaction is caused at the photoset part and the part is hardly fogged. |
