摘要 The invention relates to the production of layer-coated glass panes which are substantially achromatic to reflected and transmitted light, and which reflect a high percentage of the infrared radiation, by cathode sputtering of targets containing indium and tin. With a view to minimising the use of costly materials such as gold and indium and to producing layers possessing improved stability, a glass substrate has applied thereto the following layers: (a) At least one layer of indium/tin oxide containing from 50 to 98% indium and having a layer thickness ranging from 50 to 500 nm, and preferably from 100 to 400 nm, and (b) At least a surface layer of at least one of the oxides of tin, bismuth titanium and tantalum and having a layer thickness ranging from 400 to 1500 nm, and preferably from 600 to 900nm. The indium in layer (a) may be substituted by cadmium.
