The invention relates to a hydraulic pump having hollow pistons (3) which are arranged parallel to the drive axis and are set into reciprocating motion by means of a swashplate (7), pump delivery being effected via discharge valves (12) which are arranged downstream of the hollow pistons (3) and are pretensioned (biased) by means of restoring springs (13). Each valve (12) of this pump has a stem (14) assigned to it whose movement is controlled from the swashplate (7) and which both lifts the valve (12) to open it, and guides it, so as to produce a delay, during its closure. <IMAGE>
