PURPOSE:To obtain a plurality of pulse trains of different phases with a simple mechanism by detecting by sole magnetic flux detecting means the phase of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of magnets 5a, 5b,..., 5e are disposed at the positions in response to the desired phase differences on the concentric circles of a rotor 4. The variations in the magnetic fluxes of the magnets 5a, 5b,..., 5e produced in response to the rotation of the rotor 4 are detected by a sole magnetic flux detecting coil 6, and the phase signals formed by the negative and positive pulses in response to the detection are respectively outputted to positive and negative polarity pulse amplifiers 7 and 8. The detection signals are counted by a ring counter 10 through a reset pulse generator 9, thereby obtaining first, second,..., fifth pulse trains phi1, phi2,..., phi5 in response to the counting sequence. |
