<p>PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a CRT display, by increasing the number of display colors without increasing the quantity of color information and then varying the display colors by increasing and decreasing the pressing force of a light pen. CONSTITUTION:When a bright line of a CRT1 is detected by pressing a light pen 2 to the CRT1, a photodetecting signal A is transmitted. At the same time, the pen 2 delivers a pressure signal P which is equal to an analog output corresponding to the pressure of the pen 2. The signal A decides coordinates Xa and Ya indicated by the pen 2 through an address deciding circuit 3. These coordinate signals Xa and Ya are led to an address deciding circuit 4 and an address control circuit 15, respectively. While the signal P is fed to an A/D converting circuit 11 to be converted into a digital value.</p> |
