PURPOSE:To exactly prevent the staining of a printing single plate with a chain plate by a method in which annular liquid trap grooves are provided in each chain plate of a chain conveyer for feeding the printing single plate and a rotary brush is provided also on the return side of the conveyer. CONSTITUTION:For each chain plate 3 constituting a chain conveyer 2, annular liquid trap grooves 4 are provided away from the peripheral sides on both sides. Also, a synthetic resin rotary brush 5 is provided on the return side of the chain conveyer 2. During cleaning period for the feed line after the completion of printing, the rotary brush 5 is contacted with the chain conveyer 2 for cleaning. Since not only the peripheral sides but also both sides of the chain plates 3 are cleaned up by the rotary brush 5, the contamination of the printing single plate with printing liquid can be avoided, and even when the printing liquid is melted to run out, the printing liquid is arrested by the liquid trap grooves 4. Thus, the contamination of the printing single plate with the melted printing liquid can be avoided. |
