The ski is to be cast in one piece from a synthetic material. The upper standing surface is given a tread-safe knobbed rubber coating. The handlebar is rigid, but slightly movable downwards in accordance with the material. In the rigid, cast state, the handlebar is to be inclined at an angle of about 70 DEG to the treadboard. The rear edge of the ski points upwards, the treadboard merges into the handlebar at the front. The handlebar gives the skier secure standing and makes it easier to change the direction of the monoski.
