The invention relates to a process for producing easily wettable, virtually non-dusting granules from substances soluble or dispersible in water or organic solvents, or from a melt, in a fluidised-bed granulator, which is characterised in that the particles whose diameter is greater than two to five times the desired minimum diameter are removed from the granules present in the fluidised bed, the smaller particles are left there, or are returned to the fluidised bed, the particles having a diameter above the desired maximum diameter are selectively mechanically comminuted and the particles having a diameter below the desired minimum diameter are returned from the resulting particle mixture to the fluidised bed.
