摘要 PURPOSE:To perform excellent drive control, by dropping an arm to a mechanism system in waiting, after driving the mechanism system for the 1st moving range and waiting the system, driving an electromagnetic system for the 2nd moving range and detecting a prescribed lowering position. CONSTITUTION:In starting a pickup arm 5 being in a rest position A at an operation panel (not shown), a motor 9 is started and a mechanism driving system 7 turns the arm 5 to a position C. An electromagnetic drive (DD) area sensor (not shown) is actuated and the system is switched to the DD driving system. The latch of the system 7 is released and is in waiting state in precedence to the DD system. The DD driving system performs high-speed lead-in, an address sensor in interlocking with the arm 5 starts the count and registers addresses every time an intermusic sensor at the tip of the arm 5 detects the intermusic from the innermost circumference of a disc. The outermost circumference is detected, the DD drive is inverted, a program recording is detected and the arm 5 is dropped with the mechanism driving system in waiting. Thus, excellent drive control is performed and the automatic music selection is performed accurately.
