PURPOSE:To know a direction easily without any magnet by allowing the second hand of a portable watch to indicate the direction. CONSTITUTION:The second hand 1 of the portable watch is magnetized to S and N poles and normally engages with the engagement part 7 of a transfer member 6 to function as the second hand of the watch. To know a direction, a crown 4 is operated to elevate a strut 5, and consequently the second hand 1 is allowed to rotate freely, indicating the direction easily by providing symbols for east, west, south, and north on a dial. Therefore, a direction is known easily on the portable watch without any magnet. |
