A valve unit which has a plurality of valves (6, 7, 8) connected in series is used for controlling the pressure medium inflow and outflow in an injection-moulding machine having a clamping unit and an injection unit, which are driven by a cylinder arrangement. These valves (6, 7, 8) are arranged in bores of a control block (22) and designed as non-return valves which are kept in the closed position under the pressure of the pressure medium. The valves (6, 7, 8) can be hydraulically actuated. The inlet valve (6), arranged at the inlet of the control block (22), is fuse-protected. <IMAGE>
