摘要 In an infinitely variable, two-stage friction disc transmission accommodated in a housing and having two friction element pairs arranged in series between an input shaft (5) and an output shaft (13), the friction elements (2, 3) which go between the two said elements (1, 4) to make up the respective pairs with a friction element (1) mounted on the input shaft (5) and a friction element (4) arranged coaxially with the output shaft (13) are over-mounted on an intermediate shaft (23) mounted obliquely in a carrier (6). The carrier (6) is held in longitudinally adjustable and pivotable fashion on an eccentrically mounted supporting column (10), the radial adjustment of the friction elements relative to one another being assigned to its longitudinal adjustment and the transmission of the axial contact force being assigned to its pivoting. In operation, the main part of the contact force is preferably supplied via a torque-dependent tapered-cam clutch, of which only half may have tapered surfaces (9) while a cylindrical supporting pin (12) is used as the counterpart; at least a basic amount of the contact force is supplied by a spring (8). <IMAGE>
