PURPOSE:To obtain a device which sequentially lighting display elements with a changeover switch, by connecting other electrodes of four display elements of the 1st and the 2nd groups where one electrode is connected in common for four elements each, in common for one each. CONSTITUTION:Other electrodes of four display elements of the 1st and the 2nd groups where one electrode is connected in common for four each, is connected in common for one each. For example, a 4/8 propgram changeover switch S2 is turned off, a CL terminal of a D type flip-flop FF2 is set to H level, a Q output terminal of the FF2 is set to L level and a Q' output terminal is held to H level. A control transistor (TR) Q4 is turned off, a sequential control TR Q3 and a drive TR Q1 are turned on, and the TR Q2 is turned off. The electrodes A1- A4 of the 1st group light emitting diodes D1-D4 are connected with an electric power supply +B1 and the diodes D1-D4 are lit with sequential forward bias by switching the changeover switch S1. |
