PURPOSE:To provide smooth transition of the engine operation from a low speed to a high speed by mounting a throttle valve which is restricted to have a certain opening by a control means when an engine runs at a low speed, releasing the restriction, when the same is accelerated, to supply it with the same amount of fuel as supplied at the early time of the acceleration and thereafter automatically controlling the opening of the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:Immediately after a control means A releases the restriction of the increasingly opening tendency of a throttle valve in order to accelerate an engine which is running at a low speed with the throttle valve 1 having a low opening, the valve 1 may be forcibly maintained at a certain opening by an accelerating means B, on account of which a needle valve 1a which is fit to the throttle valve 1 increases an opened area of a main jet 6 to supply injection of fuel sufficient for the quantity required by the initial acceleration. When the engine r.p.m. gets higher, the negative pressure which is exerted on the throttle valve 1 is intensified. The throttle valve is thereby maintained at a corresponding opening to supply the appropriate amount of fuel according to the engine r.p.m., hence improving the acceleration performance smoothly. |
