<p>A multiport valve for a dust-collection system has a pair of axially spaced seats for two of the ports which can be selectively engaged by a valve member in the form of two oppositely convex shells adapted to bear against one another at their edges. In addition, the shells can be separated so that each engages one of the seats. The actuator for the valve member or plate comprises two telescoping members which can be collectively or individually shifted in the axial direction. These members may be connected by swivel joints to the valve plate.</p> |
