PURPOSE:To provide a flame-retardant resin compsn. having improved heat distortion resistance, by mixing a vinyl chloride resin, a crosslinked polymer compsn., a polyalkylene terephthalate and magnesium silicate powder in a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride resin (A), a polymer compsn. (B) obtd. by graft-polymerizing a monomer selected from an arom. vinyl compd. such as styrene, a vinyl cyanide compd. such as acrylonitrile and a methacrylate ester onto an alkyl acrylate polymer such as n-butyl acrylate polymer, a polyalkylene terephthalate (C) and magnesium silicate powder (D) are mixed together in such a proportion as to give a weight ratio of A/B of 40/60-70/30, C/(A+B) of 5/100-30/100 and D/(A+B) of 2/100-20/100 to obtain the desired flame-retardant thermoplastic resin compsn. |
