The invention relates to a device for connecting two thin-walled hollow profiles which are arranged at an angle with respect to one another, to be precise a connecting profile (1) and a profile (2) to be connected. The two hollow profiles are connected using an insertion bracket (4) which can be pushed at right angles through the connecting profile, through slots (3), into the interior of the profile (1) to be connected and is fixed in its position by means of a clamping element (10) which is to be clamped between the free limbs of the bracket (4). The bracket, insertion element and hollow profiles can be bonded to one another so that a rigid connection of the two hollow profiles is produced with good strength characteristics. The hollow cross-section of the connecting profile (1) remains freely accessible as a result of this type of connection. <IMAGE>
