Device which is coupled to a conveyor and has at least one load section accommodating the bulky load. The load section comprises at least two individual sections mounted so that they can move towards one another, which are connected to one another by way of a carrying element. The individual sections are mounted so that they can swivel in relation to one another. Mounts are provided on the carrying element for fixing the individual sections in various swivel positions. An individual section designed as middle section is directly connected to the load section. Side sections, which are coupled to the carrier element by way of a tension connection, are swivel-mounted on the centre section.
